A Huge congratulations to Dave Moss of Feel the Track for winning his 2nd 450cc Superbike Championship in a row (the 7th 450cc Superbike Championship in the last 8 seasons for the team) on his G-Force Engine Development NC428V!!!!! Thanks Dave for keeping the Rubber Side Down, and putting the power to the ground as necessary to keep the Championship in our possession.
Dave used the G-Force Engine Development NC428V (428cc Version) to convincingly lead many races and be consistent enough to bring home the Championship yet again. It was not an easy win as there were many serious contenders this year. Former 450cc Superbike Class Champion, Mike Lohmeyer (seen on the Red bike in the picture below, with 421 Ian Smith right behind) was racing as a Development Rider for another team, helping them prove a concept 450cc Triple conversion. In that, he was not racing for points, or he would definitely have been a contender for the Class Title again. Also, the other major contender, Alan Cunningham on his SV-500, put up a major opposition early in the season. Unfortunately, Alan was injured so the true battles did not ensue for a full fight for the Championship. Regardless, Dave rode hard, setting new personal-best times and continuing to push the limits of the motorcycle as he raced through the season. In addition to the AFM 450cc Superbike Championship, Dave also won the Thunderhill Raceway 450cc Superbike Cup Challenge. Awesome job Dave!!!
In addition to Dave Moss's great success, Mark McKinney has come back to speed on his G-Force Engine Development built and tuned Kawasaki EX-250. In the last event at Sonoma Raceway (aka: Sears Point Raceway; aka: Infineon Raceway), Mark set the new lap-record for a 250cc Production bike at that racetrack. A former AFM 250cc Production Class Champion, Mark finished 3rd Overall in class this season with some definitely hard-fought battles against some of the most ambitious and agressive riders in the country. Mark proved his talent among many former AMA Pro racers such as "Flyin' Brian" Bartlow and Adam Faussett, just to name a couple. Mark also took home the Feel Like a Pro 250cc Challenge Championship, sponsored by Brian Bartlow and his Feel Like a Pro EX-250 Racebike rental program. Awesome riding Mark!!! Great job this season.
