As reported in my last post, I had to cut way back on my efforts with the NCs due to taking a position as the Quality Assurance Department Manager at Honda Performance Development. After around a year and a half in that position, I was able to prove my value, and in June of 2015, I was promoted to Engineer in the Engine Development Department.
Now, I work within the Engineering department, running Honda's twin-turbocharged V6 IndyCar engines on one of several A&D dynamometers. Still fresh to everything, it is amazingly complex, and overwhelming at times. The learning curve is steep, but the amount I have learned in just a couple of months is simply jaw-dropping. It only inspires my passion for the NCs, and gets me anxious to get back to development of our Fuel Injected NC450V Gen 7Ti bike for the 2016 racing season.
Keep checking in as I will be updating the Blog with details of that bike throughout the next several months.
