Even MORE Breaking News!!!
Have you been trying to find engine bearings for your NC-30 or NC-35, and are being told the parts are "No Longer Available" (NLA)? Well, Honda may no longer care about your NCs, but G-Force ABSOLUTELY cares.
It has been a very long road to find a vendor that would even be interested in making quality bearings at volumes less than 10,000 to 100,000 parts per year. I reached out to all the big players: Clevite, Mahle, Taiho, Vandervell and Daido and a half dozen others. The only responses I got were from Vandervell and Daido. Vandervell was interested, and very accommodating, but said the size of our bearings fell outside of their high-volume process, so the costs would be higher. They quoted us, but the quote was painfully high. However, if no other bearing company was willing to step up, that would have been our only choice if we wanted to keep our bikes running.
However, I then received a response from Daido Metal USA. They have a Race Engine Bearing division that caters to guys like us. Smaller volumes run at higher quality specs at reasonable costs. Oh, and....it turns out that Daido Metals in Japan just happen to be the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Honda motorcycle bearings. So, we can rest assured, these bearings will meet...or EXCEED OE Quality.
Yesterday (31-Oct-2016), I met with the Sales Engineer to finalize the deal, and handed him our Purchase Order for 400 Rod Bearings (+100 test bearings of a higher grade overlay) and 400 Main Bearings, with the ability to order more when/if necessary. Current delivery is expected to arrive in my hands by the end of January 2017, ready to ship to anywhere in the world Early February 2017. I have ordered every color code ("Grade") of bearing originally made by Honda. However, we have asked them to focus on the Brown Rod Bearings and an even spread of Main Bearings as some bearings are still available from Honda (I assume until they run out).
To order Bearings, Please send me an e-mail with the G-Force Part Number and the Qty you need from the chart below:

Also, for special circumstances, I have created some extra-thick Bearings. These will be used primarily for crankshafts that are undersized. This can occur if the crankshaft has been polished several times. Also, in the event of a mild bearing seizure, there may be an opportunity to polish it out and run thicker bearings. I have a collection of cranks like this that I might get polished up, and have bearings supplied with the cranks, as kits in the future.
I am also testing a new overlay for racing purposes to avoid some of the surface fracturing we have been seeing on our high-output race engines. This is caused by extremely high hydraulic pressure from the higher horsepower outputs that we have been achieving. This may be of interest to those running the Cosworth 414cc (56mm) and 428cc (57mm) kits we provide.
